Transitional Living (Papas House)
We are always on the lookout for the land for Papas House! Deuteronomy 6:10-12 New International Version (NIV)10 When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, 11 houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied,12 be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

This part of our ministry is designed for women in prison to have an alternative place to home plan to that offers them a chance at success in being free from their past.
Phase one is a yearlong program. We believe that by the end of phase one; the women will be productive citizens of the community and firmly rooted in the Lord. One of our goals is to have them grounded in a good job before they are released.
Phase two: As each resident graduates and leaves Papa’s House we will help them transition into their new living arrangements. With the help of our partners/sponsors/donors, we will make sure they are in a safe and healthy environment.

We are a God centered, Faith based transitional living center for women only.
We are not your typical home plan.
We aren’t for most people; we have a structured day of bible, worship, work, fellowship and relaxation.
We have a discipleship program which includes going to church twice a week and being involved with all activities we do as DGU Ministries.
We believe with the renewing of our minds that what we put into our eyes and ears will either build up our spirit man or our flesh and we want to train the residents how to build up their spirit man.
We will also train up our bodies as we train up our spirit man by promoting healthful eating and living as well.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Mark 11:22
Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”

We are privately funded. We know God is our source and He is helping us change the lives of these women forever.
